About Divine
For 10 years, Divine Support Services has helped people living with disability across Melbourne live more independently and feel part of their community.
Now we are bringing that experience to older people living at home, and to the families who care for them, as Divine Aged Care & Support Services.
We believe support should feel respectful, dependable and shaped around the person receiving it. We want older people to feel heard, and families to feel comfortable asking questions.
Our promise
That means listening carefully, protecting dignity, and keeping people involved in the decisions that affect their day.

Divine Support Services began 10 years ago with a simple aim: to make everyday life better for people living with disability. Since then, we have helped NDIS participants build their independence, take part in their community and get support that fits their life, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Those years have taught us what good support really looks like. It is someone who turns up when they say they will. Someone who listens, remembers what matters to you, and treats you with dignity. And it is keeping families in the loop, so nobody is left wondering.
Older people deserve exactly that. So we are taking the next step and expanding into aged care, as Divine Aged Care & Support Services.
The name is new. The values are not: respect, empathy and integrity, in every visit.

We plan to offer private care in the future, for people who would like to arrange and pay for services with us directly. For now, our aged care services are arranged through registered Support at Home providers.
Understanding your options
Most older people get help at home through the government's Support at Home program. Here is how it works, in three steps. Information is correct as of October 2026.
Contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or at myagedcare.gov.au ↗. They check if you are eligible and arrange a free assessment at home.
You can usually be assessed from age 65, or from 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
After your assessment, you choose a registered Support at Home provider. They set up your budget, your service agreement and your monthly statements.
Tell your provider you would like Divine to deliver your care. If they work with us, our team will start visiting. Not sure where to start? Call us on 1800 844 169 and we will talk it through.
Support at Home started on 1 November 2025. It replaced Home Care Packages.
After your assessment, you get a budget based on your needs. There are eight ongoing levels. There is also short-term help for:
Your registered provider sets the prices and sends your bills, not Divine. What you pay towards each service depends on the type of service and your income and assets. Full pensioners pay the least.
| Type of service | Our services in this group | Do I pay part? |
|---|---|---|
| Clinical supports | Help with daily living, help with medication, continence support | No Personal care has had no contribution since 1 October 2026 |
| Independence | Transport, going out together, social support, group activities, respite | Some Based on income and assets |
| Everyday living | House cleaning, laundry, meals, shopping, gardening | Some Based on income and assets |
Services Australia works out your share, and there is a lifetime cap. Your provider can tell you exactly what you will pay before any services start.
CHSP gives entry-level help, like cleaning, meals, transport or social support.
The government has extended CHSP to 30 June 2029. It stays separate from Support at Home for now.
If you have a disability, the NDIS may be able to help. Divine Support Services already provides NDIS support, so please ask us.
Not for government-funded care. You choose a registered Support at Home provider, then ask them to arrange for Divine to deliver your services. We are happy to help you with that conversation.
We do our best to send the same familiar faces each time, so you can get to know the people coming into your home.
